When will GoogleTV support multiple-users?

There are 6 family members in my home. We all have Google accounts. On a centralized, shared TV such as a living room ANY of us might be watching it. Why does Google have such little understanding of their customer's use models? Why are your UI options straight out of 1996? Why is there NO way to add all 6 accounts to GoogleTV and have the quick and easy option of 'switching' between which one is in use? My wife sits down, fires up the living room tv, holds down "Home" for 2 seconds and is prompted with a list of icons/names of who is "using" Google TV. She selects herself, her interface reflects all her preferences, her apps, her recommendations, everything. An hour later, I sit down at that same TV. I press and hold "Home" for 2 seconds, I select my icon/name, now MY interface, my preferences, my apps, my recommendations are present. When is this available? Until Google figures out that not everyone is a college student with 1 TV in their room and NO ONE ELSE EVER USES THAT GOOGLE TV PUCK, this product is useless to families. The fact you can't even allow Family Link managed users to be set as the Primary User is also STUPID. Get with it, Google. Learn how your customers use your products and develop solutions that meet their needs. Don't just design an "experience" as YOU want it to be. It's not up to you. You're not Apple.

Hey there DJONES,

I apologize about the late response, but I totally understand your frustration. I also have more than one adult in my household, and I would like to have separate accounts for everyone. Sadly, I don't have any news on when or if Google plans to implement this feature, but I would recommend submitting feedback via Google TV to let Google know that is something you want to see.
