Why can't I cast?

Why can't I cast I click on cast my screen but it won't cast?

Ensure that both the Chromecast device and your phone or PC are connected to the same WiFi network bandwidth.

They are both on the same network because I can view live tv when I click on live tv but when I click on cast to screen it won't cast so I am totally confused 🤔 🤔

PS: The casting started to work again and I didn't make any changes I wonder what happened?

Reboot the Chromecast device - unplug it from the main power grid for about 5 minutes then plug it back in.

Instead of casting your screen, try to simply cast and observe behaviour.

I mean, for example, open YouTube application, play a video and press the cast button on top of it

Yes that does work but I can't cast my screen makes no sense to me 😭
