Why can't kid profiles access YouTube TV on Chromecast with Google TV profile?

I would like to give my teen kids access to YouTube TV on Chromecast with Google TV within their kid profiles.

Hey there sshicks02,

I am sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Google has set up the kid's profile in such a way where an app deemed friendly for young children would be allowed on there. At this point in time, you cannot add apps outside what Google has chosen to be allowed on kid's profiles. I know this set-up does not work for everyone, such as folks with teenagers, so I would recommend that you submit feedback via Google TV to let Google know that more freedom with apps and settings for kid's profiles would be desired.
