chromecast not showing 4k 60hz 4:2:0 color after the Android 12 update

TV: Samsung UNHU9000

I cannot see the color format 4:2:0 option when im plugged in to the MHL port (which supports HDCP 2.2), as a result the maximum resolution is only 4K 30hz..

How can i get it to show 4:2:0 color format  + 4K 60hz? It used to show these options before the Android 12 update

Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is for connecting phones/tablets to TV which don't have HDMI. Connect the Chromecast to a different HDMI port.

only this hdmi port supports hdcp which is required to play netflix 4k.. this used to work prior to android 12 update. any other suggestions?

Hey there reek21,

Like MagicAndre1981 said, the Chromecast with Google TV wasn't designed with the MHL port in mind. Regardless, make sure your Chromecast is up-to-date on its firmware, and try connecting the MHL port to a different slot on the TV to see if that helps. If you are able to, check to see if the color option is available using the MHL port on another TV set.

Best regards,
