I am still waiting for the operator to let me know how to restore my chromecast as it always flashes orange, in fact the firmware of the preview program nr. 291998 has bugs, in addition I am also waiting for an answer for the problem on the GOOGLE HOME application of email notifications and no one has been heard anymore
Thanks for getting back to us. The Chromecast update is over the air. As long as it is connected to the Wi-Fi network, it will automatically receive it. You may try to reset the Chromecast to trigger the update. Also, I'd suggest you send feedback about this using the Google Home app. Here's how.
