chromecast sign in. Signed in already, but speaker says to sign in and can't

Problem started when I cancelled You Tube Premium. I can cast and it gives options, but now it does not show options for movies. You have to guess the number.  Now speaker says to sign in and I am signed in, but no icons on Desk top and not where to sign in

Hey there Snuffy,

I'm sorry to hear that YouTube is giving you issues, I can imagine this is pretty frustrating. Go ahead and give these steps a try:

 

  1. Make sure the Google Home and YouTube apps are up-to-date.
  2. Sign out and back into the YouTube app
  3. Clear out the cached data on the YouTube app.
  4. Factory reset the Chromecast device.
