Hello,
My Chromecast GOOGLE TV (HD) was working perfectly, and suddenly it stopped grabbing internet connection.
I am connecting well to my wifi router or wifi hotspot on my phone; but it shows "limited connection" and therefore there is no internet. I therefore cannot access any video content, download apps on Play store etc...
I though it could be that my Nord VPN app on the chromecast was creating an issue so I have removed the NordVPN app but the "lost connection" remains. Needless to precise that WIFI works on all other devices (computers, phones, ROKU, ...) and I am disconnecting most of them to secure that it's not a limited numbers of devices able to connect to my wifi that would be the source of the "limited connection".
I have also rebooted several times the wifi router, the chromecast.
Do you have any idea of what could be the issue? and how to resolve.
Thanks!
kind regards,
JC

Hi Jc3344,
Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. If a reboot doesn't work, please try to factory reset your Chromecast and check if the same issue will persist. Also, try to connect the Chromecast with Google TV (HD) on a different Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot if one is available so we can isolate the issue.
Regards,
Jennifer
