chromecast πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Where to begin?

So as far as I know I have a gen 3 chromecast. Today we got our wifi service changed and I need to connect my device to the new network. Per google's "support" info I must have access to the old network, I obviously do not. Per google I can get around this by doing a factory reset of my device, however when I attempt to do this my google home app (ios) states that the device's settings cannot be accessed. Please help, this is such [redacted] I'm at my wit's end.

Hi @ih8teAI

Please try factory resetting your Chromecast.

This can be done by holding the button while connect to a power source. πŸ™‚
