Hello everyone
I just bought a Google chromecast 3rd gen for my father and I need help figuring something out.
I want to use headphones (Bluetooth or wired) with chromecast and the app google home I used to set all up.
But I can't find an option to choose the output for the audio 😕 because he wants to use headphones to not disturb anyone while he watches his favourite programs on the TV but the audio comes only from the TV speakers.
Is there a way to change the output or I need to get the chromecast with google tv ?

You either connect the Bluetooth headphones to a TV with built-in Bluetooth audio (if available) or connect wired headphones to the TV analog output jack (if available).
Alternatively, if the TV has digital optical or digital coaxial audio outputs, you can use an audio digital to analogue converter with headphones output or Bluetooth audio built-in.

Is the chromecast google tv a better option for bluetooth pairing ?

In my opinion, yes, Chromecast with Google TV is a the better option, because, beside Bluetooth support, it has Ian USB-C port, which offers better transfer speeds and more versatility.
