I used to have no issues casting in surround sound. I noticed there was an update on the 24th of Jan 2022 which has left my chromecast without the ability to downcast to my bluetooth headphones. Where as my vodophonetv has no such problem. please fix as I have spent 3days fiddling with my plex media server trying to fix the problem.

Quick questions — does your Bluetooth headphones no longer connect to your Chromecast with Google TV? Can it connect to other devices? 
 

Try these steps:

  • Reboot your Bluetooth headphone.
  • If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with the CGTV, please disconnect them.
  • Reboot your TV.
  • Reboot your Chromecast.
  • Reset your Chromecast.
