google tv remote is no longer allowing input change on Epson Home Cinema 2250

I have had a GTV and Epson 2250 since May and they were working great with each other with no issues. Around October I got a GTV system update and now the remote will not allow me to change inputs but still has no issues powering on the device. I will say that randomly it will start working for one push of the button, but since it has stopped going straight to the Chromecast on boot up I know need more than one controller every time I power the system. After playing around with the settings on the devices I have come to find that the power setup on the GTV controller is set to "Epson TV" while the input is set to "CEC Mode".

Any help with this issue would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey there MrCutter,

Thank you for visiting the Chromecast Community! Since this thread hasn't had activity in a while, we're going to close it to keep content fresh. We hope you were able to get the help you need, but if you're still having issues, please make sure that your Chromecast and TV's firmware is up-to-date and that your Chromecast is plugged into the correct HDMI port for CEC functionalities. You may also swap the remote to IR to see if that helps.

If the issue persists, feel free to create a new thread, and provide as many details as possible so that others can lend a hand. Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Jeran
