Are you trying to load a sign in type splash page to access your Chromecast in a community network setting? If so, that is an unsupported network. Chromecast needs to connect to a secure private network.

Hey there chelbagarry,

Just to confirm, are you trying to have the Chromecast display a specific web-page as soon as you turn on the Chromecast device? If that's the case, unfortunately with the Chromecast Gen 3, the device will always display Ambient Mode when nothing is casting. The Chromecast can only display web-pages that you directly cast to it from another device, such as a phone or tablet.
