how to load Chrome cast on laptop computer with windows 10

Everything shows for phones or tablets.  instruction showing how to for this computer do not match or at least videos i have watched.  can some one please explain how to do so

To use Chromecast with a Windows computer, you have to use the Chrome Browser:

https://chrome.google.com

Then, you can use cast-enabled websites or mirror your tab/screen:

But, this is important, you can't use your computer to SETUP your Chromecast.  For that, you need a compatible phone or tablet that can install and run the Google Home app.

There is no way to do the initial setup using a computer.

When you say "load Chromecast on a windows computer" I'm assuming you mean use or communicate from a windows computer?

If so then you need to use the Google Chrome browser and follow the instructions linked below.

If you mean set up or configuration then that must be done from the Google Home app on either an Android or iOS mobile device.
