iPad won’t connect to Chromecast

My iPad used to cast to my tv with Chromecast.  I changed the router and Wi-Fi, but now I cannot cast from my iPad.  I made sure that everything is on the same network and I followed the instructions to restart/reboot everything. Nothing has worked. My husband has an android and he is able to cast. I don’t understand why changing the network would impact my ability to cast. Help please. Thank you!

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to get your iPad connected to your Chromecast? If not, I'd be happy to help you figure this out. First, do you receive any specific error message when you try to cast? If so, please let me know what the error message is, and I can provide more specific troubleshooting. For now, go ahead and follow these troubleshooting steps.

I believe I’ve already completed the above tasks. That being said, I will try again, however my iPad is off for repair, so I will have to try again once I get it back.
