my chromecast won’t stay connected to my wifi

my chromecast wasn’t connecting to the wifi and i did every step on the assistance page and got to the factory reset. started the reset and got to the wifi step and it says connected for a few seconds then it changes to: “something  went wrong. jessi TV may be set up, but we could not
communicate with it from your iPhone. Make sure
that you have enabled local network access in
your iPhone's privacy settings. Then try again.” Obviously i checked that local network access is enabled which it is and tried again multiple times without any luck. Has this ever happened to anyone else. For reference i have a chromecast gen 2 bought 3-4 years ago that worked just fine until now.

Great! If you continue to experience unstable connections, try checking if there is a firmware update for your router. Google the model and "update firmware". Only download and follow directions from the manufacturer website (Huawei).

Can you share more details on your wifi setup? How far is it from the TV? Do you have strong signal near the TV with other devices such as a phone? Is it connected via 2.4g or 5g? Are you able to test the Chromecast near the router? Have you tried restarting your router? Do you know which wifi channel your router is set to and if it's a crowded channel with neighboring Wi-Fi networks? What kind of router do you have, exact make and model?

I followed all steps recommended by Google and none Google still getting try restarting your wifi router although it was connecting fine few days ago, is there any solution for this issue

it’s in the other room so it’s only a wall separating the router from the chromecast and it hasn’t been a problem in the past few years that i’ve used my chromecast. yes, i have good signal on my phone and it is connecting to my phone and working properly. I don’t know if it’s the 2.4 or the 5 i don’t really know where to look to find that out. i have a tv in the room where the router is so i could test it on that one. No, i haven’t, i wasn’t able to yet someone in my household needed it for work but i will try it today. I don’t know if it’s crowded it’s only used in our household by a few devices. Home Gateway HG658
