my computer can't find my device in Cast

My other laptop can find it, my phone can find it, but the computer I need to cast with now can't find it.

any help would be appreciated.

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I know casting issues can be tricky to troubleshoot. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

 

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • What version of Google Chrome are you using?
  • Are you connected to the same network band that the Chromecast is connected to?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
