casting from chrome comes up with 'no devices found' could this be a problem with our time capsule?

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience on this! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know it can be confusing to find where the issue is when it comes to casting. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • Are both devices connected to the same network band?
  • Can other devices find and cast to the Chromecast?
  • Are you casting your tab, or your desktop?
  • What operating system is your computer running?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

Do you still need help with this, mamasass? You can check this support website article to see the steps that you can do if you are getting a message "No devices found" when casting from Chrome.
