"Failed to cast. Please try again." message only appears for one website.

I have been casting films from criterionchannel.com for a couple of months now without any issues but today I have come across the message "Failed to cast. Please try again." when attempting to stream from the video player on the website. I am able to cast from every other video streaming website I've tried, Criterion channel is the only one I'm having an issue with. I've tried casting from both my laptop and PC but have the same problem with both. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi tgw,

 

You may want to make sure your Chrome browser is up to date on all your devices. Add the cast button to your browser and try casting via that option rather than their CritierionChannel embedded cast icon. Possibly try casting from their Criterion app downloaded onto your mobile. I would also suggest reaching out to their support channels and see if they know of any current browser based casting issues.
