One light is shown as several in the Google Home App

I struggle with my Google Home app. For some reason, the app has registered 1 light as 4. And another light as 3 and so on. This makes for quite a comical effect when I ask Google to switch off the one light in the bedroom and the response is "OK, switching off 4 lights". But it is also a bit annoying. Therefore I ask, before switching to another supplier if there is a way to remove lights from the app. Instead of 7 lights in the kitchen, it should only say 3 (because that is how many I have there). I have also removed one light but it is still shown in the app.

I have scratched my head for hours now but the app is really difficult to understand. It could definitely be made a lot more user-friendly.

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that these issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Garrett DS
