Has anyone figured out a way to link their Yale + Nest lock to Airbnb and automate unique door codes that are linked to the guest stay? Some of the other locks on the market seem to have this feature built in but we’re wanting to continue using Google Home and Yale to be consistent in our house and not add a new platform. Thanks in advance!
I’m wanting the same thing. Looks like the yale app does connect but my lock won’t link to the yale app only the nest app. Not sure why. I also know there are third party vendors that will set up automation of lock code creation and guests reservations but there is an added monthly fee.
I’m afraid connecting the Nest x Yale Lock to Airbnb isn’t available. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us. I'd suggest sharing your feedback about Google Nest.
It's available now, as of today. I cannot connect my Yale nest lock to Airbnb. It rejects my username/password and won't allow me to change it. Please advise ASAP.
How do you know it's available? I know that there are several Yale locks listed on the AirBnB site that are compatible, but the Yale + Nest locks are not. Do you have some documentation that shows this?
