Alert Delay on doorbell

My doorbell doesn't send me an alert until after the person is gone. Even when I'm at home on the same Wi-Fi. It's kinda hard to talk to them if they are already gone, or even see who was there.

It happens on all devices not just android

I've dealt with similar issues as well.   Based on what you're seeing, I'd check the camera settings in the Home App first.  Make sure your seen event zone isn't cutting off the target's approach to the camera and then notifying you at the end of the event (try deleting and reshaping your activity zone)  I'd also make sure the camera wake up sensitivity is sufficient to pick the event up.  In terms of phone/device settings - check to make sure your device isn't using battery optimization (ex adaptive battery on a Google Pixel). This or a battery saver could be delaying notifications.  Double check that you also don't have automatic on/off activated based on your home/away presence.  I have even had to adjust a setting in my Pixel watch app that was feeding all the notifications directly to my watch and not to my phone.  Lots of variables, but you'll get there if you try each change one by one and eliminate the possibilities.  Good luck!
