This automation used to work but suddenly stopped, and although I've tried adding it again, restarting (both phone and speaker) and changed up the prompts, I can't get it to work.
I'd like a command where when I say "Tea timer", the speaker waits 5 minutes, then announces "Your tea is ready." I've tried configuring this so that it plays a chime instead of announcing, or plays a chime when I give the prompt before the 5 minute timer. Nothing seems to work. I don't get any announcement.
I'd prefer not to automate an alarm for this because then I would have to turn it off with a voice command. I just want an announcement after 5 minutes. Is there a way to do this? Am I missing something?
I can't upload a photo so will try and re-create the Automation here. It's a Personal routine since you can't add "Delay Start" to household routines, for some reason.
Starters: When I say to my assistant "Tea Timer"
Actions: After 5 minutes.
Announce "Your tea is ready"
