CCwGTV ambiance mode

Recently,  my CCwGTV ambiance mode has started showing annoying tiles when it first stars. Giving youtube, Spotify suggestions. Is their a way to disable these tiles?

Thanks for reaching out. To confirm, are you pertaining to the recommended apps in your home screen? If yes, you may try to enable the Apps only mode settings. When Apps only mode is on, it hides Google’s recommendations from your home screen along with your ability to give feedback on movies or shows, or add them to your Watchlist. See the step below on how you can turn it on:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Accounts and Sign In.
3. Select the Google TV Account.
4. Select Apps only mode to toggle it on.
5. You will receive an explanation that you have enabled apps only mode. Select Continue.
