I was wondering if there was any chance of finding out if Google nest products are or were being used in my home? I have been hacke and cyberstalked for almost a year now and I wholeheartedly believe it is my boyfriend. I can't keep an email account, I have no social media, and I have two Gmail account that I would love to get back into. Pictures of my deceased father and dog are stored in there. I have switched carriers, phone type, countless emails, phone numbers, iccid numbers...
I know that my home was bugged, but I have to get some solid proof...any ideas would be appreciated tremendously. Thank you!

You would need to go into the interface for your wireless router and look at the devices connected to your network, then see if anything listed is a device you don't recognize.
Easier yet - would be to just change your wifi password, then re-connect your devices. Once done, look for any other wifi networks on your phone with a name like Speaker.asdflke8 or Display.8v8ad, where the network name is a device name followed by some random characters. If you see any of these, then yes, there is a nest/google device somewhere in your house trying to get online.
But, if you were truly hacked, then the culprit is more than likely not a nest device. If I thought my accounts had been compromised, then I would completely wipe all of my computers and my phone in addition to analyzing the other devices on my home network and look for anything I didn't recognize.
I'd also double-check that all of my important accounts have two-factor authentication set up, and that the recovery number used for two-factor authentication was in fact my own. If you want to get more secure, use the Google Authenticator app for 2FA, and ensure that the only device you have it installed on is a freshly wiped cell phone.
Feel free to reply here with more details or send a PM, I'd be happy to help talk you through some other security best-practices to help you feel more secure.

Hi folks,
Thanks for the help, @digitalhigh.
@Krista3, Thanks for reaching out. That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let me help you. The only time that someone can access your Nest speakers and display is if they are near and connected to the same network. The Google Home app doesn’t have the option to track if someone is using your device. The least thing that you can do is change the Wi-Fi password, as suggested by digitalhigh, so no one can access your devices.
I hope you've got the answer you're looking for. If you're still in need of any assistance, feel free to let us know by updating this thread.
Regards,
Juni
