Because of some issues with ghost devices i removed the Homey app from Google Home. Afterwards i added Homey again and at first i got the message Homey connected, but after a while i got the error "There went something wrong, try again". I did this several times without any result.
So i went to my Google account and removed the third party app Homey and tried to add it again, without results and the same error. Then i removed the Google Home app from my phone, rebooted my phone and started all over again. Same result and same error.
I tried also to add other apps to Google Home e.g. Tuya Smart, but with the same result. Then i tried to do it with an other account, but still the same result. I am on the same network with Google devices, Phone and Homey. I also rebooted router, wifi AP's, Homey, Phone. But no results.
Their are other apps still connected with Google home and working, like Sonos, Foscam, Loqed
Anyone with a clue?
Thank you in advance!

Hey fvhuizen,
I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you, let's see what going on.
Make sure your devices are connected to the same network and within 15-20 feet of your router. Have you tried using a different phone to see if you'll get the same result? Could you try creating a new home structure and set up your smart home devices there?
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Alex

Your solution were the first I tried as you also can read in my topic. The Google Home app is just buggy. It doesn’t update devices and their names. Even when I remove a device and add it again.

Hey fvhuizen,
We appreciate your time in updating us. Google Home app released its new update this week, could you check what's the version of your app? Also, clearing the cache and data of your Google Home app might help too.
Thanks,
Alex

Hi fvhuizen,
Thanks for the additional details. Have you tried resetting your Google Home or Google Nest devices? If so, can you provide us the cast firmware version of your devices?
Best,
Alex
