Has anyone else had this issue? We were excited to get the new chromecast but now we are left with a black screen!!! Can’t figure out what the problem is, tried resetting tv until we googled this issue and it looks like it is common with the new chromecasts. Looks like I’m calling for some help in the morning.

Quick question: what's the LED status on your Chromecast with Google TV (4K)? Please plug in the Chromecast with Google TV (4K) on a different HDMI port on your TV. Shutting down the TV completely by turning it off and unplugging from the power outlet might also help.
If the issue persists, plug in your Chromecast with Google TV (4K) into a different TV screen.
