I've read all of the threads. I've tried all of the "solutions". None of them work. Why can't Google home interface with Phillips Hue?

Hello AndroidSucks,
Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for this experience. Let's get this sorted out.
A few questions: are you using Bluetooth-enabled Philips Hue bulbs? Were they working before? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?
Let's try some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. Ask your Google Home, "Hey Google, sync my lights." If you get the same message, you can also rename your lights to see if that helps. Here are the steps: open the Google Home app > Touch and hold your light icon > Choose Settings > Name > Edit the name > Save. For more troubleshooting steps, you can check out this support website.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Lovely

They were connected by the Hue bridge. Had to reset the Hue bridge and re-add 30+ lights and devices. Every single one of them is updated. I've tried to add them through the Google home on both android and iOS to no avail. Asking assistant to sync my devices or lights will not work as home refuses to interface with Hue whatsoever.

Hi AndroidSucks,
I'd like to dig deeper into this: was your Philips Hue account linked successfully in the Google Home app? Are the lights showing on the app's Home screen? If this was working before, when did this issue start?
If you have another Google Account, try to use it in the Google Home app and then link your Philips Hue account there. Let's see if the lights will work on a different account.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Lovely

Phillips hue will not connect through Google home. It says please try again later. I've tried incessantly. I've tried on and off wifi. I've tried only on 2.4 GHz network and 5GHz only. I've reset the entire hue bridge 3 times, re-add every light and device to re-do the connection but it does not work. It was halfway working and not adding new devices so I had to reset the Hue bridge and recreate the connection. At that point it stopped working.

Hello AndroidSucks,
Is this happening even when you are using a different Google Account? If yes, uninstall and reinstall both the Google Home app and the Philips Hue app on your phone. Make sure that Philips Hue is no longer showing under your Google Account's Linked accounts and once done, try to link it again. Let me know if you still encounter the same message.
Kind regards,
Lovely

Turns out it was a matter on the Phillips Hue side. I could elaborate the weeks of troubleshooting and hair pulling but it was the matter of a buggy Philips Hue gradient lightstrip.

Hey AndroidSucks,
I appreciate you keeping me in the loop and I'm sorry you have to go through this. Hopefully, the issue with the light strip will be resolved on Philips Hue's side. If you have other concerns or questions with your Google Home or Nest devices, let me know so I can help.
Best,
Lovely
