I have 2 Wi-Fi and 3 cameras. Need to have 3rd camera on 2nd network. How to do this - keeps defaulting.

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response, and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how upsetting this may be, and I'm happy to assist you with this. There shouldn't be a requirement to have your cameras on separate Wi-Fi connections. Would you mind clarifying the trouble you may be having?

Best regards,
Brad

Instead of using a wifi extender in wds mode which halves the bandwidth, I configured an EAX18 to retransmit with a different SSID and achieve 75% speed of the original. Hence a different SSID and one of the cameras is in the extended region. If the purpose to restrict a subscription to a single location by virtue of the SSID, that makes no sense as there could easily be the same SSID in different locations, circumventing this subscription restriction. Makes no sense to me why multiple SSID couldn't be on one subscription.

Hi folks,

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for sharing that with us. You did a great job of configuring your router settings which helped in connecting your Nest cameras.

Give us a shout if you have any questions.

Thanks,

JT
