Fast response to a doorbell not in right language

When someone ring the doorbell, I receive a notification on my phone and my Google Nest Hub Max is showing the doorbell video.

 

Both device are configured in French. The fast response on my phone are in French, but they are in English on my Nest Hub Max and my setup is really in French.

How can I fix that?

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your Google Nest Hub Max concern. Do you have multiple languages added to your Google account? If so, try to remove other languages and just leave French, then reboot your Google Nest Hub Max and observe if it makes a difference.

i dint have multi language in my Google account. Only French.

Hello DuFF1,

 

Let’s further look into it. Kindly get the software version of your Google Nest Hub Max. Swipe up from the bottom of the display > Settings > Device information. Then, do a manual reboot on your Google Nest Hub Max by unplugging it from the power outlet for 2 minutes.

Got it. Try to configure the Nest doorbell Quick Responses in the Google Home app. Let us know if that helps.

spoken language was already in French. But after unplugging my Nest Hub Max for 2 minutes, it’s now in French.
