Google Home shows all Lutron RadioRa2 devices offline

A week ago, Google Home decided that all Lutron Radiora2 devices were offline. Lutron's app shows them perfectly functioning, Home says they are offline.

I have:

Disconnected/ reconnected the Lutron RadioRa app

Deleted all other users I was previously sharing the Home with

Deleted the Home and created a new one

Unplugged the Lutron hub and RF devices

Rebooted the router

I don't know what to do next.

Home can see TP-Kasa and Nest, but not Lutron

Any suggestions?

Hi @GretchenS!

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Lutron RadioRA 2 devices are showing offline in the Google Home app, even though they are working in the Lutron app. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help you!

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • Is your Google Home app updated to the latest version on your mobile device?
  • Are you using an Android or iPhone device?
  • Have you tried saying "Okay Google, sync my devices" after attempting any of the re-linking steps? This command helps refresh the device list in Google Home.
  •  Is your Lutron hub connected to a guest network, or your main home network?

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,
Geremi

Hi GeremiG,

  • I am using an Android device. My husband is using a different Android device. Both devices show the same issue.
  • My Google Home app is version 3.32.183.1
  • I did not use Google assistant. I just tried and it was frustratingly useless and did not do what I expected it to do.
  • My Lutron hub is connected to the same network as my phone, it is the only network in the house. It is a mesh router system, but I can confirm that all devices are operating out of the same hub, so there shouldn't be an issue with that.

Still no luck. Is anyone at Google going to respond?

Same issue.

Spoke with Lutron. This is a known issue. They are working to resolve it. They advise to make no changes until a workaround is in place. Hope this is helpful to others. I am just a homeowner, not affiliated with either Google or Lutron.
