Google TV - I'm trying to load Nest

Recently bought a Sony TV with Google TV  - I was hoping to view my Nest cameras on it. I've downloaded nest App on my TV but I keep getting a message that my email address or password is incorrect despite me checking it and trying several times

Do you use a Google account for your Nest account?

Or are you still using a Nest account?
