Google device call shows as "unknown" caller

trying to set up calling from google hub for someone with medical issues. HOW CAN I GET THE CALLS TO NOT BE FROM "UNKNOWN:"? Everyone assumes spam and won't answer.

Your phone number will show up as private or unknown when you call someone with your Nest device, unless you have a Google Fi or Google Voice phone number linked in the Google Home app.

To link a Google Fi or Google Voice number:

Open the Google Home app .
Tap Settings and then Communication and then Call Providers.
Tap Google Voice or Google Fi to link your phone number.

Hope that clarifies- you need to have a Google Voice or Fi number to register it on the Caller ID
