How can I play my daily spotify mix 1 using a routine?

I’ve been testing out routines and had it set to workout music at first to get my day started. 
seemed ok, but kept playing the same thing over and over each day. 

so I changed my routine to Daily Mix 1

This is a Spotify thing that changes each day based on your listening preferences. 

It didn’t know how to handle the input this morning and asked me if I want to use Spotify or Google Podcasts? 

google podcast isn’t even an option in the settings and I have Spotify as my default music linked up. 

it choose the podcast option automatically and started speaking Spanish to me. Aye aye aye. How can I fix this without interacting every morning?!?

Thanks for reaching out — let's get this sorted out. A few questions: Is the Google account the same account that was used to set up your device? Has there been any recent adjustments to the Google Assistant settings for the primary Google account that is linked to the device? Also, try deleting your old Routines and creating a new one.

Sorry no, 

I fixed the issue by adding “on spotify” to my wording 

fixed it and great!!
