How to add actions to Google assistant/where is explore tab?

Hello!

I am going crazy trying to find this easily. I am trying to link a service to my Google assistant to order food through our Google home. However, it states this can be done in the explore tab. Where on god's green earth is this?

I have clicked my profile icon, gone to assistant settings and there is no explore tab. I only found it by happen stance on through a hyperlink on a Google form (directory of actions) which I still can't even find in the app itself.

Someone please help cure me of this frustration haha

I used this link previously and the guidance is inaccurate and does not advise how to get to explore as it is not listed in the app settings. Is there another way to access this?

Thanks for your help - unfortunately the link doesn't work and it appears there is no easy way now to get to the explore tab. searching it doesn't yield and results and asking google is the same

Thank you for your reply.

However the crux of my issue is how do I access the Explore tab through Google assistant to view the actions available to me, without having to open a forum thread to find it. The link provided by Princess (and clicking on directory of actions) takes me there but I'm unable to seemingly do this through my own methods.

Hello spollard101,

Gotcha. You can discover available services within the Google Assistant app or the directory of Actions.

• Open the Google Assistant app Assistant (iOS).
• At the top right, tap your account.
• Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap the triangle next to the Google Account, then tap another account or Add another account.
• Go back to the home screen, then tap Explore at the bottom right.
• Scroll through the list of Actions on Google. When you've found the one you like, tap the card.
• Learn about the service and a sample list of things to ask.

Hello,

When I am in the Google assistant (using a Samsung, Android) the only options are discover, search, and collections).

Jumping in to give you the steps on how to attach a photo here but before doing so, please do not include any valuable and personal information that might have risks on your privacy and security. That said, here's how:

1. Within this thread. Hover the mouse pointer to each icon and you will see the next option.
2. Click Insert Image.
3. Choose an image source location.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
5. Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.

Open the Google Home app .

At the top left, tap Add Set up device Works with Google.

Select the device maker from the list.

To complete the setup, follow the in-app steps.
