I currently have a nest router and several points around my house. I just built a backyard studio and want to understand the best way to connect internet using my existing system. I had them run an ethernet cable as I already have the trench dug to add electricity. I understand I cannot hardwire a point to this. What are my options? Should I purchase another Google router and connect it to the existing router in my home (I noticed this has an option to add one). Thanks!

I have 5 hardwired nest routers. One of those is in an external garage. In my case I have my fiber ONT-Border nest wifi router - 8 port switch splitting everything off to the rest of the house. However you may be fine just plugging another router into your existing one.

Hi folks,
Thanks for posting. We'd love to help.
@Spaghetti69, I appreciate the assistance.
@SEAN4, you can purchase either a Google Wifi router or a Nest Wifi router since both devices are compatible with your current setup. They also have ports that you can use for a hardwire configuration, unlike the Nest Wifi points. Check out this support article for more information.
Hope this helps.
Best,
