Hue lamp is always shown as off

I have a Philips hue bulb in my room and a nest hub max. I have linked the hue bulb to my google home without a hue bridge. All the voice controls work just fine. Except in the google home app and on the hub max it always says the light is off. Because of this I can't turn the light off from the home app of by using the display of the hub max. I can turn the light off using voice commands.

Is there someone that also has this problem? And is there a fix

Hi koenvm,

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out.

Please try renaming your Philips Hue light bulb and see if it will make it available in the Google Home app and Google Nest Hub Max afterwards. Here's how: open the app > Select the light bulb icon > Choose the Settings icon at the top right > Tap Name to edit > Save. If this didn't work, move it to a different room using this guide.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,
Lovely
