Ifttt deleted applets not releasing voice commands.

Hello!!!

I know that it's a know issue but I cannot find any solution that works...

So I recently bought a nest mini and I was playing with some ifttt applets. Then I wanted to delete one and after I removed it my google assistant still responds to the voice command.

I have tried everything from recreating the applet and disabling it to deleting my account on ifttt and my home on Google home.

Does anyone know how to remove the voice commands???

I’ve got the same issue.

IFTTT doesn’t appear in my “Works with Google” list, so I went to add it. Even though the toast says the linking was successfully, it still doesn’t appear in the list. I’ve even removed Google from the IFTTT side (and the applets no longer do anything).

I fixed this issue with these steps:

Firstly remove everything that it has to do with google assistant from the My services tab on ifttt.

Secondly add google assistant v2 to ifttt and do the steps but do not connect it to Google home.

Lastly create your applets in ifttt with the google assistant v2 as you normally would, then add ifttt to the works with google list in Google home and you are done now test your applets.

Warning!!!! Do not disconnect the applets because they can't be reconnected, you have to recreate them... Disconnect the only if you want to delete them.

Just chatted with support, I removed IFTTT from the linked apps list under Security at https://myaccount.google.com. Just noting a second way in case someone else needs it!

Sadly this didn't solve my issue. My google assistant still responds to deleted ifttt applets...

Changes are coming to how Google Assistant works with IFTTT — while these services will move to a different platform, you can still reconnect IFTTT to your Google Home App and rebuild or re-add your Applets. Here's the link on how you can do it: https://goo.gle/3Sql4zd

Hello!!!

After 1 week google released the voice commands and now it's working perfectly...

So the way to solve it is to just wait 1 week...
