Issue with adding Tuya bulbs to Google Home

I already have several Tuya-compatible devices a smart switch, power strip, and sensors and they all work perfectly with Google Home. I also have LEDVANCE bulbs which don’t work with the Tuya or Smart Life app but they integrate just fine into Google Home.

Recently, I bought Tuya bulbs from a local store. They paired perfectly in the Tuya and Smart Life apps, but Google Home sees them as offline. Meanwhile, the LEDVANCE bulbs are working fine, and so are all my other devices.

What could be the issue? I’ve already tried everything Google suggests: re-pairing the bulbs, relinking the apps, restarting Google Home, etc. Its doesnt work.

Clear table on you router/modem because out ISP's are cheap the stored paying for dynamic DN, S, therefore, the table builds up with all the random Mac addresses, and you get duplicates of devices that are no longer Active , but are still taking space on the table. When we had dynamic d, n, s, no matter what are MAC address changed to it would just keep up.Keep up no that's a paid service.

To help me troubleshoot this efficiently, please answer these quick questions:

  • Have you ensured both the Smart Life and Google Home apps are fully updated?
  • Have you made any recent changes to your WiFi network (e.g., new password, new router)?
  • Have you tried controlling the bulbs using a different mobile device (phone or tablet) with the Google Home app?
  • What is the estimated distance between the Tuya bulb and your WiFi router?
  • Have you performed a factory reset on the Tuya bulbs?
