Can’t find a way to add motion detection to an outdoor camera.    Can’t find the filter for that.

Hi Eddie64,

To enable motion detection on your Google Nest outdoor camera, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Tap on the camera you want to enable motion detection for.
  3. Tap on "Settings" in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Scroll down and tap on "Notifications".
  5. Under "Activity Notifications", toggle on "Motion".
  6. You can adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection by tapping on "Motion Sensitivity" and adjusting the slider.

Once you have enabled motion detection for your outdoor camera, you should start receiving notifications for any motion detected by the camera. Note that you can also set up specific activity zones for the camera in the "Activity Zones" section, which can help reduce false alerts and notifications.

Thank You!

Regards,
M.S.A.
