I have a number of Google Home devices, automations etc in my home, but I have also installed a couple of Google Mini's and a Chromecast at the home of my elderly father who lives in the vicinity. He has recently had some health issues, and as he's extremely deaf doesn't always hear the phone which has necessitated several physical trips to check on him to ensure he's ok. I'm thinking of installing a Tapo C200 at his home (I've successfully got three Tapo cameras internally and externally at my home) and have set up his home on my Android as a separate 'home', but my question is whether this will work and allow me to check on his welfare? Everything works fine with his devices when I'm at his and logged onto his WiFi, but when I'm at my home the screen shows 'can't connect'. Any suggestions?

Hi Philbert,
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delay. You need to be on the same Wi-Fi network when you try to access devices from your Google Home app. You can use the Tapo app instead when you are away from your father's home.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Juni
