(This is a repost from @CMack back in 9/2022, and I am looking for an update, hoping Google pushed this feature after CMack’s great suggestion)
There are many cameras on the market now that have a warning sound coming from the camera when it detects motion. When I go on walks in my neighborhood, I hear many of my neighbor's driveway cameras whistle or say, "You are being recorded" when I walk by the camera. Many security companies are now pitching this as a feature of why you "should not" use a nest camera. Is it possible that Nest Cameras will have this feature added in a firmware update? If I can speak to someone from any of my cameras, I can't see why an automated intruder warning sound can't be sent when motion is detected.

Hi @Rachy!
Thanks for posting in the community.
I can see that you are requesting a feature that is still not available on our Nest Cameras; you would like to have the cameras warn the people in front of it that they are being recorded but this is still not available for our cameras. Your feedback is invaluable to us and helps us identify areas for improvement. Then here I send you the feedback form where you can put your suggestions and we can start to work on them.
If you have any other questions, you can keep posting.
Regards,
Daniel.
