Nest Thermostats Support Ending

I purchased a Nest model 1.4 thermostat last year and have just learned that Google will stop supporting the device in October 2025. That is a big, steaming pile of ***!!!

If Google goes forward with this plan I will replace my Nest with a non-Google device. This is nothing but a wasteful, greedy attempt to force obsolescence of this product.  BAH!!!

I get that frustration completely, I had a similar feeling when a device I’d invested in suddenly lost support. I remember being so annoyed that I just needed something to take my mind off it, and that’s when I stumbled on billionaire spin. I didn’t expect much at first, but after trying a few spins, especially on Book of Dead, it actually helped me unwind and forget the irritation for a while. It’s funny how a small distraction like that can really shift your mood.
