Does anyone know my gen 2 nest is constantly swapping from the clock to the home screen. It's getting extremely annoying

@Damien9

Did you try rebooting your Nest Hub by unplugging it for a minute?

Hi Damien9,

This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

If the issue persists, you can revert your Nest display to its original settings by doing a factory reset. Here’s how.

Thanks for helping, MplsCustomer!

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan

I reset and now it's not picking up any WiFi.

All other devices in the house are definitely work on WiFi

Hi there,

Chiming in, to further isolate the issue, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Nest Hub 2nd gen).

Keep us posted.

Cheers,

Muddi
