As of yesterday, I noticed that a chunk of my smart plugs which were assigned to a room called "Christmas" had disappeared from my Home app. I can see it perfectly from my wife's phone and I can also tell Assistant to turn these plugs on and off successfully. It's just not showing in my Home app...

I am having the exact same problem! I had set up a room, called Color Master, that had about nine smart bulbs in it. It was in my Devices section of Home. I could turn them on, off, but better, I choose a color and all the lights in that room/group would turn the same color. That disappeared from the Devices section in my Samsung Galaxy A as of yesterday. Yet it is still in the Homes app of my Moto G7 phone. I have always used the Samsung to control the Home devices. What happened? How can I get it back, Google?

Are they all from the same brand? If so, try reconnecting the app to Google Home in Settings > 'Works With Google'

I'd tried that, but no avail. Having said that, they magically reappeared a couple of days ago. Weird...!

Another ditto here. Mine also came back a day or two ago. The bulbs in that group/room are from at least four manufacturers—maybe even up to six. There are four different apps that link to Google Home. It's all working fine again. Thanks!
