Hi there,
Can anyone guesstimate or is there an official statement in relation to the timing of the global rollout stages of new features? We are here in Australia. About a year ago I spent 2 hours on the phone with the Chromecast support to work out how I could display a Nest Camera feed on our Google TV. They could not work out why this was not working for us. Then about a month ago I tried again and it was working fine. It appears that the support team unfortunately is kept in the dark as to which country a particular feature has been rolled out to yet.

Hey RalphS,
Thanks for posting.
Before launching features or products it is usually posted on our social media channels. Additionally, all Google Nest and Google Home devices should automatically update to the latest firmware via an OTA update (over-the-air update), if the device is receiving power and connected to a working internet connection. Google typically rolls out a new firmware version over a two-week period. It may take some customers up to two weeks to receive a new firmware version if it was recently released.
Hope that answers your question.
Best,
Alex
