Why i can't use nest audio as tv speakers?????

One of the core features that was confirmed to be in the works for the Chromecast with Google TV, the ability to use Nest Audio as a speaker, has still not been launched.

If that’s the case, though, it would be a clear detractor from Google’s Nest ecosystem by comparison to setups from Apple and Amazon. Today, you can easily pair one or two Apple HomePod Mini speakers with an Apple TV, and Amazon’s Echo speakers can be similarly paired to a Fire TV device.

It will be two years in November since Google said to the media that they were working on home theater integration for Nest Audio. Since then, usability has actually gone backward. Support/experts are actually advising that even if you can pair nest audio speakers with a chromecast dongle on a TV (since you can't pair with built-in chromecast on an Android TV or Google TV), that you can only use the speaker group which includes any Nest Audio for audio-only, such as listening to music or podcasts. This is so frustrating, especially because they advertised it as working with Google TV at the time I bought my pair of nest audio speakers. I think it must be because of the delay/lag between the nest audio speakers and the TV speaker. I saw many complaints in this forum about that delay when users did actually have them paired in a group. They couldn't get the sound to sync. Then eventually I noticed that I can't even see the TV to add to a speaker group any longer. So instead of fixing it, Google is just ghosting us whenever we ask about it, and they have removed all evidence that they ever even advertised this as a feature.

Ghosted by Google on paring speakers with Google TV. That was so last August. It’s December  and I have plans for like January. I purchased the GTV and the speakers under full advertising impression these would be another “It just works” ref. G. and of course found out after the fact I het a lesson on acoustical physics that it simply just does not work.  WTF To that. Hello?  Is this thing on?  Google? Insert pronoun of your choice. Get on it. Tech is great until it doesn’t work how you expect. I want my 2$.

I totally understand that this is a good feature to use with your Nest speakers, but, this feature is not yet available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
