Where to find the Nest Pro ID

My Nest Learning Thermostat is installed. While I was matching it with the Nest App for Android, after scanning the QR code from the device, I went to Home/Assist to get the number - wrongly as it is on the back of the thermostat! but I couldn't go back to the main menu. So, the thermostat is now stuck on the Nest Pro Id screen, asking for the code that I don't know where to find it. What is my id and or how do I get off this screen and using the thermostat and the app accordingly? Thanks

Hello Manute,

Thanks for posting here in the Community. On the Nest Pro ID option screen, you just need to select no to bypass it, or just press and hold the Nest thermostat display for 10 seconds, and it will manually restart and go back to the main setup process screen to continue the setup on the Nest learning thermostat.

I cannot still make Nest App working with Nest Thermostat. Any time I want to enter the app to check on the thermostat, I need to take a picture of the QR code, put the thermostat code, etc. It doesn't seem very functional as it is, I probably miss something to use it correctly.

I’m glad to hear you’re able to pass the Nest Pro ID setup screen. It seems that your Nest thermostat is still not connected to your Nest account. If you go to the settings on your Nest thermostat and look for the option Nest App, does it say connected to an account or get entry key?
