broadcast and other announcements (like doorbell) on chromecast enabled devices

Do announcements like Doorbell events from Nest or broadcast messages initiated using Google assistant on Nest or Android, play on Chromecast enabled devices ( when they are online)?

With a smart display, Chromecast or Android TV, you can get doorbell visitor announcements. The broadcast feature only works with speakers or displays, not Chromecast.
