connecting google home to tcl google tv

 How can i connect google home to my tcl google tv? After i setup "add device" "new device" and "choose home", looking for devices show and "what are you setting up with" show i choose chromecast/google tv and plug in your device show (i dont get the meaning of that) and "looking for devices" show again and after that "what are you setting up with" show again and make it a loop

Have you first done the initial setup on the TV, selecting your language and region, and choosing "Set up Google TV", then follow the steps on screen?

How to do it: Don't initiate the adding of Google TV device from the phone or tablet's google home app. Instead on the TCL Google TV, go to settings, accounts and proceed to add a google account. You'll be shown a giant QR code. Scan the QR code with the phone running the google home app and click the link - that adds the account to the TV and also adds the TV to google home.
