I have a Nest Floodlight that, when motion triggered, I have an automation that turns on several other lights.  What I'm missing is the ability to turn those additional lights off after a set period of time, say 3 minutes.

I'm able to accomplish this with motion sensors, but haven't be able to do so when the floodlight turns off.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi tfresh911,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Google Nest camera floodlight does not turn off after the set period of 3 minutes. I'm happy to assist you! Please follow these steps:

  1. Check the motion sensitivity:

    • Open the Google Home app.
    • Tap and hold your device's tile.
    • Open Settings (the gear icon) and then "What turns on the floodlight.".
    • Tap the switch to turn Motion on or off (make sure it's on).
    • Set motion sensitivity to high, medium, or low.
  2. Remove and re-add the timer setting:

    • Open the Google Home app.
    • Tap and hold your device's tile.
    • Tap Settings (the gear icon) and then "Floodlight timer.".
    • Select how long you want your floodlight to stay on after it detects motion. Choose 3 minutes.

Let me know if this helps!

Regards,

Manuel

Some casinos create the illusion of choice, and some really give you freedom. Crown Casino Online belongs to the latter: from the number of providers to the types of games - everything is available and works without interruptions. Australians will be comfortable - the interface is intuitive, there is no need to adjust anything.
